World Vision  (EIN 161541024)
 Briefly describe your mission.

World Vision is a relief and development organization helping children worldwide by tackling causes of poverty and developing access to clean water, food, health care, education and economic opportunity.

Who does your agency help?

Together, we work to help communities develop the perfect recipe for sustainable success. Kids are at the center of all we do. If a child is thriving, everyone is thriving.

Why should a City of Houston employee give to your organization?

In 2020 we assisted 78.2 million disaster survivors, refugees and internally displaced people, impacted 1.3 million jobs and helped provide access to clean water for 3.4 million people.

What is something unique about your agency?

More than 95% of our staff work in their home regions. Our long-term presence in communities, the trust we establish, and our integrated community development model enable us to address the many of the root causes of poverty.
